What is Respite care?

Respite carers provide valuable support by offering temporary relief to primary caregivers who are responsible for the ongoing care of individuals with special needs, such as elderly persons, individuals with disabilities, or those with chronic illnesses. Here's how respite carers help: Respite carers step in to provide short-term care and supervision for individuals who require continuous support, allowing primary caregivers to take a break from their caregiving responsibilities.

  1. Personal Care:

  2. Medication Management:

  3. Emotional Support:

  4. Safety Monitoring:

  5. Household Assistance:

Overall, respite carers play a crucial role in supporting both the individual in need of care and their primary caregivers, allowing them to recharge and attend to their own personal needs while ensuring continuity of care for their loved ones.
